The State Committee for Standardization of Belarus has banned the import and sale of Greenfield Buckwheat & Cocoabeans tea drink (buckwheat and cocoa beans), the press service of the State Standard reported.
Experts found that the products do not meet the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union “On food safety”.
In tea, an excess of the permissible content of mold and the unacceptable presence of E. coli bacteria were revealed, the amount of mold exceeded the norm by 70 times.
According to the State Standard, the producer of the tea drink is the Russian “ORIMI”, located in the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region. The supplier to Belarus is Alfa-Distribution LLC.

On October 9, Rospotrebnadzor banned the import and sale in Russia of Georgian alcohol and drinks from a number of manufacturers, including mineral water “Nabeglavi” and wine from “Tbilvino”, “Teliani Veli” and “Brothers Ascaneli”. The corresponding document is available to RBC, also the information is confirmed by the source of RBC in the alcohol market. An interlocutor in one of the largest retail chains also confirmed to RBC that “such a letter was received.”.
