Stressful fights for freedom and rhythmic dances. In Murmansk are touring the theater of classical ballet named after Kasatkina and Vasiliev

In the Murmansk Regional Drama Theater, the tour of the State Academic Theater of Classical Ballet named after Natalia Kasatkina and Vladimir Vasilyev started. The company has already managed to show several productions. This was reported by the press service of the theater.

The tour opened the ballet “Spartak” to the music of Aram Khachaturyan. On the stage unfolded the story of freedom, love and resistance - with intense fights, expressive duets and mass scenes. In the production, a significant part of the original score was restored, and Roman combat techniques were woven into the choreography.

On the second day, the audience saw Don Quixote to music by Ludwig Minkus. Rhythmic dances, castanets and bright colors moved the hall from northern October to sunny Spain. In this story, passion coexisted with tenderness, and adventure with humor. Comic characters, with which the authors complemented the wanderings of Don Quixote, added to the production of charm.

Today, viewers have already visited the fairy-tale world of Cinderella. In the evening, the “Creation of the World” will be shown to the music of Andrei Petrov.

The tours are held under the federal program “Big Tours” with the support of Rosconcert and the Ministry of Culture of Russia. Performances will also be seen in Severomorsk, Apatity, Monchegorsk and Polar Zorya. The tour will end on October 14.
