The trailer of the spin-off “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” with Brad Pitt

Netflix has released a trailer for the comedy drama The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. This is a spin-off of the ninth picture of Quentin Tarantino “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”. Brad Pitt will return to the role of Cliff Booth, who received an Oscar for her in 2020.

The spinoff takes place eight years after the events of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Former stuntman Cliff Booth becomes "decisive" in the world of the film industry. In addition to Brad Pitt, Timothy Oliphant, who played Hollywood actor James Stacey, will return from the original. The film was supposed to feature a cameo by Rick Dalton, Leonardo DiCaprio’s character. But later the actor refused.

The script for the spinoff was written by Tarantino, from whom Netflix acquired the rights to it in 2025. Then Pitt asked David Fincher to take the director's chair. Tarantino later explained on his podcast why he didn't want to make a spin-off about Booth himself. He has repeatedly said that the tenth film will be the last of his career, and he does not want to end it with a sequel or spin-off. In this last movie, I have to not know what I’m doing again. I have to be in uncharted territory, he said.

The main shooting took place from July 2025 to January 2026. Pitt and Tarantino also produced the film. For the latter, it will be the most expensive film in his career (budget – $ 200 million). The limited premiere is scheduled for November 25, it will last two weeks. On December 23, the film will be available on Netflix.
