Scottish DJ Calvin Harris played a set in front of about 1.6 million people in Sao Paulo, for which he was in the Guinness Book of Records. The BBC reports. This is the largest audience for a solo DJ set.
According to the musician, this could only happen in Brazil. It's about his February 2026 performance on a carnival platform that "turned the city into one huge party." The DJ recalls that day as "really insane.".
Calvin Harris has previously been in the Guinness Book of Records. In 2014, he was noted for nine hits from one album in the top 10 in the UK, and later as the highest paid DJ of the year.
