Andrey Merzlikin behaves on the set like crazy

Andrey Merzlikin plays a police major and, ironically, in parallel with the shooting of the series, work is underway on the new season of Mosgaz, where the actor also wears the epaulettes of a major, but the Soviet police. However, these majors, in addition to living in different eras, have completely different characters. Kovalev from Mosgaz is reasonable and reliable. Platonov (from the new project) is full of anger and sarcasm, for which colleagues call him crazy.

Major Platonov, saving his ex-wife, a lieutenant colonel of the police, from the attack of bandits, received a severe concussion, which greatly affected his character. The authorities are trying to get rid of the investigator, who has become a very uncomfortable person, but the ex-wife creates a special unit under the unwanted major, in which he goes to different cities, helping to investigate the most difficult cases. Major Platonov’s atypical method of thinking brings unexpected results, although catching villains is sometimes much easier than finding a common language with colleagues and superiors.

It is possible that the image of the investigator, whose person does not quite fit into the official regulations, seems to the producers very interesting for the detective. Last year, on streaming and on TV, the series “Rapid Memory” was held, where again a police major performed by Andrei Smolyakov feels the first symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, and to catch the killer, he is forced to work with a young partner who helps keep everything under control.

The hero Andrei Merzlikin also has constant colleagues, but they have to take into account quite different psychological features of Major Platonov and put up with his completely unacceptable behavior.

At the moment, Andrei Merzlikin’s filmography includes almost two hundred projects and images of investigators in them a lot. However, the monotony of the proposed roles, the actor does not have to complain. Among his projects that are in production are fantasy, historical drama, fairy tale and a couple of comedies.

In the new detective, together with Andrey Merzlikin, Diana Egorova, Evgeny Nechiporuk, Yulia Takshina, Vasily Bochkarev and others are filmed.
