Minsk Chamber Drama Theatre successfully performed at the Mystic Festival in Perm

In Perm these days, the II International Theatre Festival “Perm Fantasmagoria” is held, organized by the Perm Theatre “U Bridge”. The program includes 17 theaters from 6 countries: Iran, Japan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia. Our country at the festival was successfully presented by the Chamber Drama Theater of Minsk with the play “Yehai!” based on the play of the same name by the cult Russian playwright Nina Sadur, organically combining mystical motifs, black humor and grotesque in her work.

Theatre “U Bridge” is the first mystical theater in Russia, and “Perm Fantasmagoria” is the first mystical festival in the world. Despite the fact that our friends came to Perm and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing, we have a real competition, there will be a Grand Prix and other prizes. We are glad that the theater came to us from our beloved Belarus, where we always tour with pleasure.

“Yehai!” is the thesis of the young Belarusian director Tamara Sufrunkova. She played one of the roles in the show. In the remaining images, famous actors Anatoly Lagutenkov and Alexei Shutov performed.

- From a rational point of view, “Yehai!” is three actors, a minimum of scenery, which is well suited for the thesis, and from a spiritual point of view for me personally, there are very deep topics concerning loneliness. I think, especially in our time, with all the development of social networks, a lot of lonely people. People seem to be in constant communication, but in fact they are alone. Many of those who have gone headlong into the Internet matrix remain lonely deep inside. Modern progress is a sham and decoration for the human soul.

The performance “Yehai!” was warmly received by the Perm audience and guests of the festival.
