In Perm today, on October 7, the II International Theater Festival "Perm Fantasmagoria", organized by the famous Perm Theater "At the Bridge", ended. The program includes 16 theaters from 5 countries: Iran, Japan, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Russia, sb.by correspondent reports.
Our country was successfully presented by the Chamber Drama Theatre of Minsk with the play “Yehai!” directed by Tamara Sufrunkova based on the play of the same name by the famous Russian playwright Nina Sadur. An interesting performance, combining mysticism, everyday humor and grotesque, did not leave Perm without prizes. The performer of the role of Muzhik (actor of the Belarusian State Youth Theatre) Alexey Shutov received a special jury prize for his work.
- I saw in Alexey that acting accuracy, the truth of existence and emotional power, which his teacher, the great Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, passed on to him during his studies at VGIK, noted a member of the festival jury, the famous Armenian and Russian director Karen Nersisyan.
This is not the only award of Belarusian theatergoers at the festival. The best artist for the production of “Little tragedies” of the Perm Puppet Theater was named the main artist of the Belarusian Puppet Theater Tatiana Nersisyan. She shared the award together with the artist Elena Gaeva, who created a poetic stage space for the production of “Egorushkin’s Bird” of the New Art Theater from Chelyabinsk.
Belarusians are our good friends. And the contribution of Belarusian theatrical art to the Ural space, as always, is very weighty, - said the founder and artistic director of the theater "U Bridge", Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Fedotov. - We sincerely hope for the upcoming spring tour in Belarus.
Sergey Fedotov was recognized as the best director of the festival for the productions of “The Irish Hero – the Pride of the West” based on the play by John Singh and “Tevye the Milkman” (“Memorial Prayer”) based on the play by Gregory Gorin. The production of the theater “At the Bridge” “Tevye the Milkman” (“Memorial Prayer”) received the Grand Prix of the festival.
