More than 100 accidents with animals and 300 appearances on railway tracks. In Khakassia proposed new measures for the organization of cattle grazing

Last Thursday, October 8, in the Supreme Council of Khakassia, together with representatives of districts and the Ministry of Agriculture, discussed the grazing of animals in municipalities, the republican parliament reports.

In total, there are 74,248 personal subsidiary farms in our region.

Over the past eight months, 106 traffic accidents have been recorded, caused by the release of livestock on the roads. At the same time, two cases were fatal.

Also, more than 300 times animals appeared on the railway tracks and 44 times drivers had to brake urgently.

Most often, such incidents occurred in Askiz, Shirin and Ust-Abakan districts.

At the meeting, experts suggested taking the example of the Krasnopol village council of the Altai district, where over 800 hectares were given for grazing, 430 of which were fenced with electric shepherds.

Such devices were installed by the owners of personal subsidiary farms. For this, they received land for grazing for free. This is how the risk of fines for stray animals becomes minimal.

This experience should be extended to other municipalities
