Chelyabinsk develops spiritual and moral education of youth

Within the framework of the project “Conciliar Readings” in Chelyabinsk, a forum “Church, power and business in strengthening the spiritual sovereignty of Russia” was held. It brought together representatives of the clergy, regional and municipal authorities, socially active business and educational institutions. Participants discussed the issues of youth education.

In turn, the Deputy head of Chelyabinsk for social development Sergey Avdeev shared the immediate plans of the administration.

“In our daily work, we try to change not only consciousness, but also the environment. In Chelyabinsk appeared Boulevard Alexander Nevsky, street Prince Vladimir. The festival of spiritual theaters “Voice good” was revived. In the near future on the facades of two houses will appear spirit-lifting art paintings, — said Avdeev.

In addition, on the initiative of Mayor Alexei Loshkin, representatives of the Chelyabinsk diocese will help teachers in drawing up classes on the discipline “the basis of religious cultures and secular ethics” and the course “Spiritual and moral culture of Russia”.

Philosopher and public figure Alexander Dugin, speaking in an online format, noted the competent and systematic work of the Chelyabinsk diocese, authorities, business and educational organizations of the region.

“Patriotic education, spiritual values are the main thing. We realized we needed a worldview. And all this should be laid in the youth. Through lessons in schools, lectures in institutes, Dugin urged the forum participants.

The administration stressed that the work on spiritual and moral education in Chelyabinsk is systematic and will continue in the future.
