In the center of the play, Mikhail Heifetz is a “little man” who seeks the meaning of life in the world of great culture. They in the play directed by Polina Gnezdilova was the Leningrader Misha Pitunin, from childhood accompanied by the figure of the great Pushkin - beloved by everyone except the hero himself.
The Pskov viewer saw parallels, and then an unexpected intersection of the fates of a Russian poet and a simple guy, who graduated from the Alexander Sergeevich School with grief in half. So, Pitunin finally found the answer to the question that troubled him for years: was it possible to save Pushkin from death in a duel and how? And the hall saw the transformation of a funny story into a big human drama about life, love and Rock.
The show of tragicomedy performed by the leading artist of the troupe Andrey Yakovlev took place as part of the All-Russian festival of single performances “Alone with everyone”, timed to the 120th anniversary of the Pskov drama theater.
The next solo performance “Goat Song” of the St. Petersburg Theatre “Workshop” will be held on the Big Stage on October 16. The viewer will get acquainted with the author’s view of Arina Lykova on the novel of the same name by Konstantin Vaginov.
