The history of this cultural institution is the history of our village, reflected in newsreels, concerts, festivals and, of course, in the hearts of several generations of local residents.
The institution first opened its doors back in 1931, starting its way as a small club association. On April 4, 1966, a 400-seat cinema was opened - and the residents of the municipality forever remembered Zenit as the place where their favorite films came to life on the big screen. Times changed, and the terms of funding changed – the cinema was transformed into a house of culture. The premises for film equipment were converted into costume rooms and rehearsal rooms.
Today there are a variety of events: from master classes to festivals. Three times a year - traditional festivals, as well as socially significant holidays: Maslenitsa, Village Day, New Year's tree and many others. Employees of “Zenit” boldly try new formats – for example, quiz. Activities on the Pushkin map are actively working.
And in 2026, the Svetoch Cultural and Craft Center joined the institution, which is a new window of opportunities for cultural workers. There are exhibitions, master classes, seminars, meetings and forums, there is a museum room. Today, the team of the cultural and leisure center "Zenit" has 14 employees.
