Governor Shuvaev appreciated the work of the House of Crafts in Grayvoron

The Governor of the Belgorod region Alexander Shuvaev during a working trip to Grayvoron visited the House of Crafts. This is one of the first such institutions in the region, this year it is already 17 years old.

10 craftsmen work in the House of Crafts, three of them are folk masters of the Belgorod region. They are engaged in felt, beads, wood carving, ceramics, makram, rattan weaving, folk dolls. Also in the building there are 20 clubs, which are visited by more than 100 people.

Grayvoron masters are known outside the region: in Moscow, Voronezh, Kursk, Orel, Lipetsk, Torzhka. Last year, the House of Crafts won the All-Russian competition and received a subsidy of 3 million rubles. With this money bought equipment, furniture, interactive table and floor.

“I saw how the masters worked. Here preserve traditions and teach children and adults. In such a difficult time, this is especially important - people find work to their liking and feel that life goes on, the governor said.
