In the area of the cinema named after Pushkin launched a free walking route “Through the era – to the present”

In the area of the Pushkin cinema, a free pedestrian route “Through the era – to the present” was launched. It includes 15 dots with texts, photos and audio stories.
The route is dedicated to the quarters in the center of Chelyabinsk, where historical buildings, squares and buildings of different periods have been preserved.
The historical part was gathered by Candidate of Historical Sciences and tour guide Vera Geil. The texts were prepared by film critic and editor Maria Onipkina, the audio version was recorded by the actors of the Manneken Theater, and the design was done by designer Yura Ponomarev.
Modern and archival images are available for each of the 15 stops, including “was and became” comparisons. Some of the stories were presented on behalf of the specialists of the so-called Moscow architectural landing party, who participated in the formation of the district.
You can walk the route directly during a walk or get acquainted with materials remotely. Access to the guide is free. The QR code was placed on the fence of the project “Contemporary” on Pushkin Street, 69.
