Ivan Kolesnikov and Gela Meskhi catch villains in Rostov-on-Don
Ivan Kolesnikov and Gela Meskhi will become Rostov sights for some time

The new series takes place in the post-war years. The hero of Ivan Kolesnikov, a former teacher at the Rostov school, returns from the front with the intention to return to teaching. But his frontline experience is much more needed in the local police, starting the battle with the post-war rampant crime. Together with the investigator, played by Gela Meskhi, the new policeman begins to unravel the most difficult cases for the sake of which you need to find a common language with a colleague of a very cool disposition.
In the rather standard detective scheme of the new project, the most intriguing part is the police tandem of the heroes Kolesnikov and Meskhi. Both actors have already managed to fairly inherit in the genre of detective. Ivan Kolesnikov, for example, can be safely called one of the main TV detectives who chased villains in a variety of projects: from Tver to the First Department.
Gela Meskhi, in addition to detectives, often starred in melodramas and quite clearly manifested himself in historical projects. Last year, he played practically Stirlitz in the ambitious spy thriller Berlin Heat. And now the actor again got clothes from the middle of the last century and the image of a man reliable in all respects.
Probably, every student of acting institutes should prepare for the fact that one day on the set will have to try on either a medical coat or a uniform of a law enforcement officer. Such is the actual specificity of the local serial industry, and treats such roles better with understanding and hope that the script will be worthy.
Not much is known about the series with the participation of Ivan Kolesnikov and Gela Meskhi, but judging by the first photos from the set, the images of those whose service is both dangerous and difficult again sat on the actors as infused. If the producers have an idea to make a remake of “Liquidation”, Gela Meskhi may well become the new Gotsman, and Ivan Kolesnikov – Krechetov. Or vice versa.
