Choir of the Mariinsky Theatre from Vladikavkaz performed at the All-Russian Festival of Men's Choirs

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the V All-Russian Festival of Men's Choirs was completed, uniting collectives and soloists from Russia, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Belarus, Serbia, Kazakhstan and Georgia. The project was attended by the delegation of the Branch of the Mariinsky Theatre in the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania as part of the Men's Choir of National Song.

All performances of the team within the framework of the festival route were dedicated to the memory of the outstanding choirmaster, People's Artist of the RSO - Alanya Olga Georgievna Dzhanaeva.

The program of the collective combined samples of traditional Ossetian polyphony and works of professional composers. A special response from the audience was caused by the performance of the national song “Me Iryston” (“My Ossetia”).

According to the results of the festival, the Men’s Choir of National Song of the branch was awarded a diploma “For contribution to the preservation of intangible heritage, spiritual, moral and patriotic education”.

The tour route of the collective covered a number of settlements of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and ended with participation in the final gala concerts on the stage of the Grand Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic.

Earlier it was reported that in Vladikavkaz opened the Poetry Theater in the framework of the festival “Ossetian Lira”.
