Artist Alexander Nasekin awarded the State Prize of Chuvashia

Honored Artist of Chuvashia Alexander Semyonovich Nasekin became the laureate of the State Prize of the Chuvash Republic in the field of literature and art for 2025.

The award was brought to the artist by the mythological series “Suvars”, which includes ten original works made with acrylic paints. In his works, Alexander Nasekin refers to the ancient culture of Suvars, conveying its images through the author’s artistic vision.

The works of the master are characterized by precise hatching and deep, expressive images that form a recognizable style of the artist. At the same time, the author leaves the viewer the opportunity to independently interpret what he saw and find his own meanings in the paintings.

“I prefer a person to come, look, see and find his solution, his plot,” says Alexander Nasekin.

On behalf of the Government of Chuvashia, the artist was congratulated by the Minister of Culture of the Republic Svetlana Kalikova.
