A lecture on the topic “Energy structure of man from the point of view of Chinese medicine and philosophy” will be held at the Chinese book center of the National Library of Belarus on September 30, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports with reference to the press service of the institution.

The speaker will be the coach-teacher on Wushu Vladimir Zorich. He will talk about the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, which views a person not as a set of individual organs and tissues, but as a single energy system inextricably linked with the rhythms of nature. It is the integrated approach to health that has made this system one of the most recognized in the world.
Listeners will learn about the vital energy of qi circulating in the body, as well as the concept of the five elemental elements of Wu-Shin. The latter provide the movement of energy, are associated with specific organs, emotions, tastes and seasons, form a system of maintaining health.
A visual addition to the theory will be the screening of the popular science film “Human Energy Construction”.
