Lydia Fedoseyeva-Shukshina survived Vasily Shukshin for 52 years

What an amazing fate for Lydia Fedoseyeva-Shukshina. Having starred in more than 90 films, she played her main role in real life. This is the role of the wife of Vasily Shukshin and the mother of his daughters, Maria and Olga. She was required to conform to a high bar. And she was an ordinary woman who dreamed of happiness and care, a talented actress, who was repeatedly shot in her films by large and very different directors, such as Mikhail Schweitzer and Dinara Asanova. But Fedoseyeva and other husbands, four, and all of them are creative people. However, the fatal belonging only to Shukshin is forever.

He died on October 2, 1974, when he was only 45 years old. It happened in the Don village of Kletskaya, where the filming of the film “They fought for their homeland” by Sergei Bondarchuk took place, and Lydia Fedoseyeva also starred in it.

Once I had a chance to visit the Altai sprouts, in the homeland of Shukshin, in the year of the 85th anniversary of his birth. Then the writer Alexei Varlamov noted that there was no other such person in Russia who could be exhibited at a large gathering of people and say that here he is, a Russian man, and no one better to find. His wife, and then his widow, were asked to comply. And she lived as she felt.

Even then, there were no people in Srotki who personally knew Shukshin, except for Irina Sergievskaya, who worked as an editor on his last painting “Kalina Red”. She recalled the happy day for him of the premiere of “Kalina Red” in the Moscow Cinema House. Then Shukshin, inspired by the audience, said that it was still just beginning, he dreamed of working. “And he was at that moment of happiness, four meters from the place where in a few months they will put a coffin with his body, and thousands of admirers who were stunned by his departure will go to him in an endless stream and fall asleep with flowers and branches of the red kalina,” said Irina Sergievskaya. Now she is gone, and the movie house.

Lyuba Baikalov in “Kalina Red” and Nyura in “Bakes-benches” Shukshin became the fate of Lidia Fedoseyeva. In fact, thanks to them, she began to be perceived as a simple Russian woman from the village, although Fedoseyeva was a Leningrad, she had nothing to do with the village.

She graduated from VGIK, where she studied in the workshop of Sergey Gerasimov and Tamara Makarova, and they felt the talent by a mile. Her fellow students were Sergey Nikonenko, the whole girl color - Zhanna Bolotova, Galina Polskikh, Zhanna Prokhorenko, Larisa Luzhina. All of them were beautiful and began to appear in films early.

Her first roles were not so noticeable, but in 1959 Fedoseyev played Tanya in the Peers of Vasily Ordynsky and was unusually good there. She met Shukshin at VGIK. He, as a senior comrade, conducted an educational conversation with her about the Komsomol, and then did not particularly like it. He studied with Andrei Tarkovsky, and for Fedoseyeva, the comparison with such a fellow student was not in his favor.

For the first time, the future spouses together starred in the film “What is it, the sea?” Eduard Bocharov. The film was released in 1965 and attracted such a number of viewers that today’s filmmakers rarely dream.

We went on a train to shoot. Shukshin looked into Fedoseyeva’s compartment with a bottle, then called her into the corridor, and they talked until the morning. Lidia Nikolaevna has told about this many times. It was a completely different test. No one in their family drank. And Shukshin was from an Altai village. He came to VGIK to enter in boots. She drank a lot, and she endured it throughout their marriage. Filmmakers who lived with them in the same yard, remember how Shukshin offended his wife, chased around the yard, so I had to hide from his hot hand with small children. At the same time, Lydia Nikolaevna, until the last days, remembered only the best about her Vas.

In addition to Shukshi heroines Fedoseyev-Shukshin played many different roles. She starred in “You did not dream” by Ilya Fraz, “Youth of Peter” by her teacher Sergey Geraimov, “12 chairs” by Mark Zakharov, where she played the incomparable Madame Gritsatsueva, “On the Main Street with an Orchestra” by Peter Todorovsky, “Vivat, Guards!” Svetlana Druzhinina, “To the last drop of blood” Polish classic Jerzy Hoffman. In her filmography - three paintings by Mikhail Schweitzer - "Dead Souls", "Little Tragedies", "Kreutzer Sonata", two films by Dinara Asanova - "Key without the right to transfer" and "Woman left".

In the “Scientific section of pilots” of Andrei I, who died at the beginning of the year, she bravely played the majestic lady Anna Vilhelmovna, the head of the demonized subway. It occurs one after another terrorist attacks, and she unfazedly breeds fish and feeds them with cockroaches, Surprisingly, such a matron of cinema agreed to participate in a crazy arthouse thriller.

Fedoseyeva-Shukshina has repeatedly surprised not only the choice of men, but also an unexpected manifestation in public life. Once she was elected to the property commission of the Union of Cinematographers, and she had to prevent the repetition of mistakes of the St. Petersburg branch of the IC.

For sixteen years Shukshina was the president of the film festival “Vivat Cinema of Russia!” in St. Petersburg and did it with her soul. Do not forget how her daughters and tiny grandson Vasya Shukshin came there in a suede jacket with a fringe and in a la cowboy hat.

With her fifth husband Bari Alibasov Fedoseyeva-Shukshina came to the Sochi Kinotavr. Then the teenagers were crazy about his group “Na-Na”. One of them climbed a tall tree to watch the star track, and almost crashed.

She was always in the spotlight, alas, not only because of creative achievements, often because of curiosity about her tumultuous personal life, relationships with children and grandchildren, property disputes. As soon as the heart could handle it. But now all these little things of life are in the past. Lydia Nikolaevna will be buried on November 10 and most likely at the Novodevichy cemetery, where her beloved Vasily Shukshin rests.
