The concert "Dances of the World" will be organized at the National Library of Belarus on October 17 as part of an amateur music salon, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the press service of the institution.

Guests will be immersed in the kaleidoscope of dance works, which at all times inspired the best composers of academic music. Listeners will be introduced to a brief history of Passacaglia, Waltz, Polonese, Mazurka, Tango, Chardash and other dances.
The program covers a wide panorama of musical heritage: from the Baroque masterpieces of Georg Friedrich Handel and the romantic opuses of Friederik Chopin to the iconic works of Scott Joplin and Dmitry Shostakovich.
The event will begin at 15:00 in the conference room, the entrance is carried out with a library card.
