The premises of the former cafe on the first floor of the Chamber Theatre are being repaired. All engineering systems are ready, finishing work has begun. The progress of the repair was assessed by the head of the city Andrei Nakroshaev.
The space will be made in the loft style: the contractor started sticking decorative tiles under the old brick. The work is scheduled to be completed by November 1.
The new venue will be used for rehearsals, productions and discussions. According to the director of the theater, it is also planned to revive the international festival of literary theaters.
Funds for repairs were allocated under the national project “Family” and the federal project “Family values and cultural infrastructure”.
