"We are united in our talent." The winners of the festival “Youth for the Union State”

The winners of the XIX festival “Youth for the Union State” were named. The solemn award ceremony today, October 10, completed the rich program of the regional festival-fair of workers of the village "Dazhynki" in Shklov, reports sb.by.

More than 200 young talents from Belarus and Russia took part in the large-scale creative event, which takes place from 7 to 11 October in Mogilev. Bright, artistic and creative Union youth showed themselves in competitions of performers of youth songs and choreographic groups. The cultural dialogue took place in the most comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

According to the results of the festival, the Grand Prix among the performers of the youth song was awarded to the vocal ensemble "Fermata" from Minsk, and the absolute winner in the competition of choreographic groups were representatives of Russian Vladimir - the dance ensemble "Rosinka". Emotions really beat over the edge, smiles Daniil Us, a student of the Minsk State College of Arts:

- We didn’t think about the result, we just tuned in to a good and successful performance because we knew the competition was huge. The strongest groups and soloists from various regions of both countries came. Everyone is incredibly talented: both vocalists and choreographers are professional! Genres are also very different: folk, pop, academic ensembles. We are all very different, but we are united in our spirit, in our strength and in our talent.

The guys took to the stage with a composition dedicated to the feat of ancestors in the Great Patriotic War. For its execution long prepared and internally filled. The winners are sure that the song and its themes are very important for both Belarusians and Russian brothers. And the festival is incredibly charged, added Daniel Us:

- The festival is a great celebration of our two friendly states, which are united by a real friendship. The program was so busy that there was literally no time to sit down. But at the same time, we do not feel tired – I want more! It's a pity that today's closing - the competition days flew by very quickly.

The participants of the ensemble “Rosinka” unanimously admitted that the victory was a pleasant surprise. A real delight and surprise, shared emotions Angelina Fatyunin:

- We did not expect such an outcome, because very strong teams from Belarus and Russia performed together with us. It was so unexpected that we still can’t believe it! They brought a material based on the traditions of the Vladimir region, the “highlight” of which was a kind of “clipper foot” in the movements – an original manner of performance, which, apparently, surprised the jury.

For a folk collective with more than half a century of history, it is important not just to dance, but to talk about their culture, including outside the country. This approach allows us to preserve our national identity, Angelina continued:

- We must not forget who we are and where our roots come from. By popularizing traditions, we restore the connection with history to the modern generation. This is very important and interesting for us. We were glad to get acquainted with Belarus and its inhabitants - open and sincere people, it was also interesting to learn the mentality of this wonderful country. We would love to come here again.

The first festival “Youth for the Union State” was held in 2006 at the initiative of the deputies of the Parliamentary Assembly. For a long time it was held in Russia, but in 2025 the creative forum was first hosted by Belarus - Mogilev was chosen as a new location. In 2026, the festival was again organized on Mogilev land.
