At the jubilee Congress of Russianists in the “New Chersonese” spoke Kherson teachers

The Tenth Congress of Russianists was held in the museum and temple complex "New Chersonesos" in Sevastopol. For the first time, the event brought together teachers and philologists from the Crimea, Sevastopol, DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, the Kherson administration told.

The main topic of discussion was the preservation of the Russian language and the strengthening of interaction between philologists from different regions. The forum was attended by more than 200 people, among whom were Russianists from the Kherson region. Deputy Governor Tatiana Kuzmich and teachers spoke from the region.

As Kuzmich stressed, over the past four years, starting from February 24, 2022, significant changes have occurred. Today, in schools in the Kherson region, children fully study the Russian language and literature, and teachers can freely speak their native language.

As a result of the Congress, it was decided to create an association of teachers and teachers of the Russian language and literature working in the historical regions of Russia.
