Announced a competition for the development of the restoration of the Transfiguration Church in Ples

Competition procedures are announced by the Ministry of Culture.

The winner of the competition must submit a set of works that include research, development of a sketch project of restoration and adaptation of interiors, preparation of project and working documentation, as well as estimates.

During the restoration, which took place more than ten years ago, works were carried out on the roof, facades, foundations, truss system, floors, as well as strengthening the painting and restoration of the staircase of the bell tower.

The announced competition is another important step to preserve the architectural monument of federal significance, which was built in 1840-1849 on the site of the Men’s Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery, abolished in 1764.
