Opera Festival Vasilisa Berzhanskaya will gather in Novosibirsk world famous stars

The festival will open on October 18 with a gala concert in the State Concert Hall named after A. M. Kats. Russian opera singer Vasilisa Berzhanskaya and Mexican tenor Ramon Vargas will take the stage. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia named after E. F. Svetlanov under the direction of Italian conductor Renato Palumbo.

The next day, October 19, will be an evening of Baroque music with Elena Gvritishvili, Ksenia Golovina and Pratum Integrum.

On November 3, the program will continue the evening of Russian music. Together with the Russian Academic Orchestra of the Novosibirsk State Philharmonic, Dmitry Korczak will perform. A gala concert of participants of the educational program of the festival is scheduled for November 4.

One of the main events will be the closing of the festival on November 7 at the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater (NOVAT). The audience will be presented with the opera La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi directed by Sergei Novikov. Beatrice Venetzi will be at the conductor's desk. The main parties will be performed by Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, Liparit Avetisyan and Amartuvshin Enkhbat.

The festival program will continue in late December. On December 30, the concert "Festival Encore" called "Baroque 2.0" will be held in the concert hall named after A. M. Katz. Russian folk songs in a baroque sound.”.

A separate direction of the festival will be dedicated to young performers. From October 27 to November 7, educational events are organized for beginner vocalists, including master classes and classes in vocal and stage skills.
