From Vivaldi to Bogdanovich. A number of concerts will be performed in the Belarusian State Philharmonic on October 14-18

Several unique concerts will be held in the Belgosphilarmonia from October 14 to 18 outside the festival program of the Belarusian Music Autumn, the cultural institution told the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency.

So, on October 14, the National Academic Folk Orchestra named after I. I. Zhinovich will present a concert for Mother’s Day. His soloists will perform. Performed by baritone Igor Zadorozhny, the audience will hear the hits “The Queen of Beauty” and “Sunday” by Arno Babajanyan, “Always and Again” by Mark Fradkin and the work of the singer’s own composition – “Only Mother”. Soloist of the orchestra Anastasia Rachitskaya will perform the song of Vladimir Shainsky “And I like him”. Ekaterina Bulatovskaya from the ensemble “Svyat”, artistic director of the group “Kupalinka”, director and concert host Anna Stepankova will perform the song “Talk to me, mother”. The program also involves: the art project "Brand Buy", the exemplary theater of pop song "Syabrynka", the group "Heaven".

The concert “Vivaldi-GALA” on October 15 will be presented by the soloist of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Alexei Zagorsky. The first section will feature a series of concertos for violin and orchestra “Seasons” – one of Antonio Vivaldi’s most famous works. Each concert is dedicated to one season and is preceded by a sonnet that reveals the images created by the music. In the second part, the concert will be attended by Belarusian cellist, winner of international competitions Mikael Samsonov. He performs on prestigious stages in Europe, Latin America and the United States, collaborating with famous conductors and embodying a wide range of cello repertoire.

The concert “Zavarzhany Vyachernai Tsishynoy ...”, dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of Maxim Bogdanovich, will be held on October 17. The State Chamber Choir of Belarus will perform. The dramaturgy of the concert will reflect the highlights of Bogdanovich’s life, his dreams, hopes and sorrows. The choir and soloists will perform works by Vladimir Karizna, Vladimir Grushevsky, Vladimir Savchik, Vyacheslav Petko, Nikolai Rovnosky and other composers. The concert will be attended by artists Nadezhda Polyanko (cimbals) and Maria Alkova (piano).

On October 17 and 18, a unique program “Music Therapy” will be presented in the Great Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic. The basis in which classical music, the sounds of nature and therapeutic instruments, light images and video projections are combined into a single space. The music of Bach, Haydn, Vivaldi, Handel, Chopin, Debussy, Liszt, Brahms and other composers will be heard.
