Pskov Museum-Reserve presents a virtual exhibition “Gold and secrets of the Black Sea: stolen collections of Crimean museums”

The Pskov Museum-Reserve presents a virtual exhibition “Gold and secrets of the Black Sea: stolen collections of Crimean museums”. About this "MK in Pskov" reported in the press service of the institution.
The exhibition introduces the archaeological heritage of Crimea, the history of its study and the fate of the collections that were shown at international exhibitions in Bonn and Amsterdam in 2013-2014. In the funds of the Crimean museums, these exhibits never returned.
The exhibition shows Crimea as a meeting place of Greek, Scythian, Sarmatian and Gothic cultures. Traces of these connections are preserved in artistic images, craft technologies and everyday objects.
