Since 2021, 70 films have been shot in Kuban with the support of the region

Since 2021, the Kuban has compensated more than 250 million rubles for the cost of shooting 70 films and TV series. About 650 local small and medium-sized businesses participated in the production of these projects, the head of the regional department of business development and foreign economic activity Yulia Prikhodko said.

The region helps film companies to select places for filming and reimburses up to 30% of the cost of film production in the region. According to the administration of the Krasnodar Territory, this support measure allows attracting local business to film production.

It is noted that on October 15 in Krasnodar in the framework of the XXII International Film Festival “Young Kinovek” will present a documentary film “Monologues of the Old Park”. The film directed by Alexander Vinichenko, shot by the Black Sea Film Studio, will be included in the non-competitive program of the festival.

Filming took place in 2025 in Gelendzhik and Kabardinka. The film is dedicated to the journalist and writer Alexander Alekseev, who created the Old Park cultural center in Kabardinka. He is implementing the project “Park of Russian Culture”.
