Serpukhov photo club looked at village life with a “different look”
Serpukhov Photo Club, founded on October 23, 2004 on the traditions of Soviet photo circles, made a photo walk. This time, the participants of the club went on two expeditions – to the farm “Russian ostrich” and the farm “Svoye place” to capture animals and find an unexpected angle in the usual rural landscape.

Today the club consists of 36 people from different cities. The result of the trip was a series of photographs in which - not just animals, but an attempt to see poetry in everyday life.
“We aim to show what is usually left behind,” the organizers say. Farms have given us a glimpse into the lives of the animals and people who work there and find something deep and real about it.
For us, this is not just another shoot, but an opportunity to go beyond the usual limits of urban photography and look at the world with new eyes. Farms are a special environment where nature and man exist side by side, and our task is to convey this atmosphere honestly and carefully. I am sure that these shots will surprise viewers with unexpected angles and warmth, he stressed.
Follow the announcements of the club, maybe soon we will see their work at city exhibitions.
