Six-meter monument to the defenders of the Fatherland will be installed in Nizhny Lomov for 4.1 million rubles

In Nizhny Lomov plan to establish a monument to the defenders of the Fatherland. For its manufacture and installation from the city budget are ready to allocate more than 4.1 million rubles. Information about this appeared on the website of public procurement. The contractor will be selected through an electronic auction.

The monument will appear on Lunacharsky Street. According to the documentation, it will be a separate street structure with a height of six meters. At the base of the stele, a granite slab with text is provided, and the obelisk itself will be made of components of granite 30 centimeters thick.

The main element of the composition will be a bas-relief in the form of a soldier, which will be placed on the facade side of the monument. The project also includes a decorative metal element – the eagle of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with gilding. For the manufacture of steles plan to use natural granite, including "Mansur", "Karelia" or "Siberian granite", and the adjacent territory to decorate granite pavers.

The foundation of the monument will be made of reinforced concrete, it is lined with decorative brick and granite. All sizes and possible changes to the project should be agreed with the customer.

The initial price of the contract is 4,120,466.56 rubles. Financing is provided from the budget of the city of Nizhny Lomov for 2027. It is planned to determine the contractor on September 29, 2026, and to complete the manufacture and installation of the monument until May 30, 2027.
