Smolensk bailiffs collected a criminal fine for theft of money
Smolensk resident, convicted of embezzlement of budget subsidies allocated for business development, was forced to repay the debt as soon as possible

A Smolensk resident convicted of embezzling budget subsidies allocated for business development was forced to repay the debt as soon as possible. Previously, the woman received financial support for physical fitness activities, but was not going to engage in the stated business. As a punishment, the court imposed a criminal fine on her, after which the regional department of the FSSP of Russia initiated enforcement proceedings.
During the work, the bailiff explained to the debtor that failure to pay the amount within the prescribed period could lead to the replacement of the fine with a more severe type of punishment, as well as to the arrest of her property and bank accounts. Despite the warnings received, the woman did not attempt to close the debt for a long time.
The situation changed after the bailiff sent to the court a proposal to replace the criminal fine with another type of punishment. Having received the relevant court notifications, the debtor realized the risk of real imprisonment and promptly transferred 300 thousand rubles through electronic payment systems. After the full repayment of the debt, the bailiff’s submission was withdrawn, and the enforcement proceedings were officially completed.
