Smolensk is preparing for a landmark cultural event - the premiere of a documentary dedicated to the history of national martial arts and the contribution of a native of the Smolensk region Anatoly Kharlampiev. The show is timed to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the legend of domestic struggle.
The painting was created with the blessing of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the A. A. Kharlampiev Sambo Institute. The film draws parallels between the feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War and the events of our time. The tape has already managed to win recognition: it became the “Best feature-length documentary film” at the festival “New Sphinx-2025” and the laureate of the International Russian Festival.
