The Sverdlovsk Philharmonic presented the new organ season in an unusual format: the presentation was held on the operated green roof of the residential complex on Oktyabrskaya Street in Yekaterinburg.

According to the Department of Information Policy of the Sverdlovsk region, organist Taras Baginets spoke at a multimedia organ that is able to reproduce the sound of 43 famous organs of the world in the acoustics of their native cathedrals. During the concerts, the audience sees images of the tools and interiors of the temples, which allows you to hear the features of German, French, Italian and other organ traditions.

In the new season, 11 municipalities will join the project “Municipal Concert Organ Hall of the Sverdlovsk Region”. The music will be performed in Asbestos, Kamensk Ural, Nizhny Tagil and Zarechny. In total, about 30 organ programs are planned in Yekaterinburg and the region, including family and children's concerts.

The multimedia organ is a very correct illustration of the friendship between modern technology and high art. Thanks to the technologies of the XXI century, modern acoustic systems and sampling, the sound of works can be brought closer to the sound of specific concert organs of the world. And the skill of our organists allows you to work with both traditional and electronic tools. As a result, organ music becomes more accessible to listeners in different territories, said Ilya Markov, Minister of Culture of the Sverdlovsk Region.

The municipal project is being implemented for the fourth season. Over the previous three years, 115 concerts were held, which were attended by more than 22 thousand residents of cities, towns and villages of the region.

Director of the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic Rustem Hasanov stressed that the multimedia body allows you to bring programs to the territory remote from Yekaterinburg by 50-350 kilometers, and the collection of instruments from around the world is constantly replenished.

The opening of the organ season of the Sverdlovsk region will be held on October 7. In Yekaterinburg, the first concerts will be held on September 23. The project is implemented within the framework of the national project “Family”.

Earlier, MK-Ural wrote that in the budget of the Sverdlovsk region in the last few years, funds were not planned for the construction of a new hall of the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic. It was planned to be built next to the current Philharmonic on Karl Liebknecht Street.
