Three Kostroma schools will receive grants for updating classrooms

The Department of Education and Science of the Kostroma region reports on the results of the grant competition “Call to teach!”, which was held with the support of the charitable foundation “Future Now”. Three Kostroma schools participating in it will receive grants for the renewal of classrooms and the purchase of new equipment. The winners of the competition were school No. 35 (it became the best in the category of schools with a number of students from 500 to 999 people) and school No. 24 and lyceum No. 41 (they distinguished themselves in the nomination of educational institutions with 1000 students or more).
School No. 35 systematically cooperates with the Academy of RHB Protection, as well as units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
There are four specialized patriotic classes here, and this academic year another one appeared in cooperation with the Investigative Committee. The grant of 1.5 million rubles will be used to upgrade the office of the OBJ and the defense of the Motherland, two premises for elementary classes, as well as history and Russian language classrooms.
Two more grants for a million rubles will receive schools No. 24 and lyceum No. 41. At school No. 24, grant funds will be used for the renewal of physics, chemistry, biology and informatics classrooms. There will also be equipment for frontal laboratory work, so that schoolchildren can independently test scientific hypotheses.
Lyceum No41 intends to create a modern high-tech educational environment. Interactive panels will be installed in the physics and mathematics offices, the computer science office will be equipped with laptops. Microscopes and micropreparations will be purchased for biology offices, which will make classes more visual.
