On the eve of the rural House of Culture, the VII interregional competition of performers of the folk song “Voices of the native land” named after Alexandra Vasilievna Prokoshina, soloist of the Pyatnitsky choir, choirmaster and teacher, was held.
The competition brought together performers from the Kaluga, Bryansk and Tula regions, who showed the entire palette of Russian folk songs.
Grand Prix won by Tamara Zevatskaya from Bryansk
As part of the competition, a concert by Elena Chumachenko and an ensemble of Russian folk instruments “Kalina” from Kozelsk took place.
Earlier, “MK in Kaluga” wrote that the Kozel district opened the avenue of Memory.
