In Chelyabinsk will restore a historic trading house on the street of Labor
At the moment, the project for the restoration of the Kuznetsov brothers’ trading house on Labor Street, 97 has been approved

At the moment, a project for the restoration of the Kuznetsov brothers’ trading house on 97 Truda Street has been agreed. The building has the status of an object of cultural heritage of regional importance. This was reported by the State Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Chelyabinsk Region.
The house is located in the historical part of the city, on the southern bank of Miass - in the quarter where the formation of the Chelyabinsk fortress began. The building is connected with the merchant of the first guild Vasily Kuznetsov and his sons Alexei, Dmitry, Alexander and Vladimir. At the beginning of the XX century, the family owned a joint mill farm.
The project provides for the restoration of destroyed sections of brick and mud walls of the southern and western facades. It is also planned to re-build internal brick walls and wooden floors.
The historical appearance is going to return to window and doorways, wooden valm roof and facades. Separate works will affect brick decor, drainage system and wooden window fillings.
Restoration should be carried out taking into account the approved object of protection of the building.
