In Chuvashia for the first time will be held the award “Bereginya village”

The event, the motto of which was “Where she is, there is life”, is integrated into the project “The best in the village” and timed to celebrate the Day of rural women on October 16, 2026.

The award is designed to celebrate the contribution of women who transform their native lands by their work: rallying local residents, creating new jobs, reviving folk traditions, equipping public spaces and preserving family values in the village.

Natalia Nikolaeva, Chairman of the Chuvashia Women’s Union, stressed that today it is extremely important to publicly recognize the merits of those who daily fill rural life with energy and meaning. “Dozens of human destinies stand behind every women's initiative. Women’s work is seen and truly appreciated, she said.

The competition program covers 10 areas, including “Mistress of the Earth”, “Soul of the Community”, “Voice of the Village”, “Strength of Character” and “Development Horizons”. In each category, the jury will determine three laureates and choose one absolute winner.

The live broadcast of the award ceremony will be shown by the National Television of Chuvashia.
