In Krasnodar, the winners of the first regional contest “NAME” were named. Children. The best young vocalists of the region were selected among more than 500 participants. The final of the competition was held in the Krasnodar Philharmonic named after G. F. Ponomarenko. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

Grand Prix won Alan Gatsalov from Yeisky district. The first place was taken by Maxim Lokaychuk from Hot Key, the second by Gordey Golikov from Anapa, and the third by Alexandra Kantsur from Hot Key. A special prize for artistry was received by Matvey Pentyukh from the Leningrad district.

According to the Minister of Culture of Kuban Victoria Lapina, the idea of a children’s version of the contest “NAME” decided to implement a few months ago, so that the young vocalists of the region could come to the big stage. The program included songs about the Motherland, love and defenders of the Fatherland. In total, more than 500 applications from 44 municipalities were received, and 11 performers reached the final. Participants passed first the municipal selection, then the regional stage. The best vocalists attended master classes and performed at the gala concert.

Their numbers were evaluated by the jury, which included the art director of the ensemble “Gilce” Valentin Georgieva, associate professor of the department of pop and jazz singing KGIK Oksana Leurda, chief choirmaster of the ensemble “Kuban Cossack Freedom named after N.V. Kubar” Elena Perminova, head of the studio “Creative Laboratory” Natalia Penjoyan and choirmaster of the vocal group “Name” Anastasia Tsytsenko. It was they who determined the strongest participants in the final.
