In Mariupol Russian drama theater started the 149th season

The head of the Ministry of Culture of the DPR Mikhail Zheltyakov told about the opening of the 149th creative season in the restored Mariupol Russian drama theater. The season started on the Main Stage with the premiere of A. N. Ostrovsky’s comedy “Wolves and Sheep”.

The building, which has become one of the main cultural symbols of the city, was restored in December last year by St. Petersburg on behalf of the President of Russia.

In the new year, the repertoire will be replenished with productions involving directors and artists from other regions. An important stage will be the return to the republic of students completing targeted training in St. Petersburg.

As the minister noted, joint work with experienced masters will allow young specialists to join in the creation of performances and the formation of the personnel potential of the troupe.
