Part of the ceremonial tea service made by Zlatoust masters will go from Chelyabinsk to Moscow

Part of the ceremonial tea service made by Zlatoust masters will go from Chelyabinsk to Moscow. Items from the collection of the Historical Museum of the Southern Urals will be presented at the exhibition of folk art crafts in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve.
Not the entire set will be transported to the capital. For the exhibition, a samovar, cup holders, tea saucers and spoons were selected. All objects are made using traditional Zlatoust engraving on metal.
The service was manufactured in 2018 in the art workshop ZlatDecor. Moreover, it was created specifically for the State Historical Museum of the Southern Urals.
For eight years, the set only once showed visitors. The rest of the time he was in the museum funds.
According to the chief curator of the museum, Irina Ivlieva, Moscow curators themselves drew attention to the collection. They found information about the service in the State Catalog of the Museum Fund of Russia, after which they proposed to include items in the Tsaritsyno exposition.
The issue of the temporary transfer of exhibits was considered at a meeting of the museum expert stock and procurement commission.
It also decided the fate of another unusual object – a full-size reconstruction of the chariot of the Bronze Age. It was produced in 2021 for the film Arkaim. Chariot of time”.
Now the reconstruction was officially accepted for museum storage. In the near future, the chariot should take center stage in the updated exhibition dedicated to the Bronze Age.
According to the Ministry of Culture of the Chelyabinsk region, such decisions allow the museum not only to replenish its own collection, but also to provide exhibits for exhibitions in other cities.
