In Obozersk built DC for 125.9 million rubles

In the village of Obozersky Plesetsky district opened a new cultural and leisure center. This was reported by the press service of the Governor and the government of the Arkhangelsk region.

The center was built as part of a public-private partnership. The modern building houses an auditorium, rooms for creative and sports activities and a vocal and instrumental class.

The building with an area of over 550 square meters is located in the center of the village, next to the temple and the memorial to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War.

- The total cost of construction is 125.9 million rubles. Of these, 75.95 million were sent from the regional budget, another 46 million rubles were from Russian Railways. This is an example of how the joint work of the Arkhangelsk region and partners gives a real result for people, Alexander Tsybulsky, Governor of the Arkhangelsk region, wrote in social networks.

The center has an auditorium for 100 seats, a game room, a library and rooms for creative studios. The stage is equipped with professional light, sound and a large LED panel. Infrastructure for low-mobility citizens is provided.

Taking into account the requests of residents, it is planned to open sports self-defense and fitness sections by the end of the year. There is a creation of a local lore - a thematic space in retrostyle for meetings, round tables and storage of materials on the history of the native land. The project proposed by TOS "Obozersky" last year was among the winners of the program "Comfort Pomorie".
