In Penza found a new place for the famous ceramic reliefs that decorated the “Café on Christmas”

Ceramic reliefs, which previously decorated the summer "Café on Christmas" in the center of Penza, after the restoration will be placed in a new place - in the Penza Regional Philharmonic. This was reported by Governor Oleg Melnichenko in social networks.

Art objects were created in 1990 by a group of ceramic masters. Over them worked Boris Nesterov, Alexander Polukarov, Alexei Milekov, Fedor Platov and Natalia Solodkova.

Cavaliers and ladies, a hospitable innkeeper and a brave city, children, birds and pets – all art objects turned out to be bright, recognizable and very positive.

For several decades, the reliefs were on the street. Over time, ceramic compositions began to collapse under the influence of external factors. A few years ago, they were dismantled and handed over to artists for temporary storage.

According to Oleg Melnichenko, residents addressed him with questions about the future of famous art objects. The governor said that after the restoration for the compositions decided to find a new place.

As a result, the reliefs will be placed in the Penza Regional Philharmonic. According to the head of the region, this will preserve the works and introduce them to new generations of residents and guests of the region.
