In the Arkhangelsk region will form the cultural code of municipalities. This was reported by the press service of the governor and the government of the region.

In the Year of Culture of the Russian North, Pomorie is working to present the cultural uniqueness of each municipality through the history of territories, outstanding countrymen, labor dynasties, traditions and contribution of local communities to the development of the region.

According to the results of the forum “Strong Municipalities – Strong Region”, which was held in the municipalities of the region all summer and ended in Arkhangelsk, they were tasked with forming their own cultural calendars. They should include events dedicated to outstanding countrymen, labor dynasties and professional achievements of residents.

The next step will be the development of key semantic lines that reveal the cultural code of municipalities and the Arkhangelsk region as a whole. Special emphasis will be placed not only on historical events, but also on people and local communities that have shaped and continue to shape the appearance of their territories.

The organization of work with municipalities will be coordinated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Arkhangelsk region.

The formed materials will be used in the preparation of cultural and educational events, exhibitions, local history projects, work with young people and promotion of municipalities.
