In Tambov will open a subscription “Music by candlelight”

The first concert will be dedicated to the “Lights of Paris”.

October 11 at 18:30 Academic Symphony Orchestra named after S.V. Rachmaninov will start a new concert pass "Music by candlelight" (6+). The opening of the season will be the program "Lights of Paris", dedicated to French music - from the XVIII century to the melodies of French cinema.

The orchestra will perform the Carnival of Animals by C. Saint-Saëns, the ballet parts of J.-F. Rameau, the Pavan on the Death of the Infanta by M. Ravel and the symphonic scherzo The Apprentice of the Sorcerer by P. Duke. The evening will end with music from movies - works by V. Cosma, A. Despl and M. Legrand.

Alexei Morgunov will stand behind the conductor's desk. The soloists of the concert are pianists Vadim Galushka and Alexei Kuznetsov.

The "Lights of Paris" will open a cycle of four concerts. During the season, K.M. von Weber programs will also be played as part of the subscription. Light and Shadows, The Great Adagio and Music to Drama.
