In the Vurnar district opened the fourth model library

An updated library of family reading and creativity was opened in Abyzovo. It became the fourth modernized library in the library system of the Wurnar district. The project was implemented within the framework of the national project “Family”.

The head of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolaev previously noted that by 2030 in the republic it is planned to create at least 90 model libraries. This means that every fourth library in the region will have to conform to the modern format.

The ceremony was attended by the acting Minister of Culture of Chuvashia Tatiana Kazakova and the head of the district Nadezhda Nikandrova. An unusual symbol of the discovery was the picture created by the Kirillov family of many children: each participant left a palm imprint on the canvas.

The updated space was divided into three thematic zones: Infovector, LitPortal and Study. Visitors have access to encyclopedias, computer equipment, digital resources, fiction and the creative studio “Muse”. Also in the library installed an interactive panel and loom.

For the guests organized a master class on embroidery bookmarks with Chuvash ornament and an exhibition of national embroidery. The new library is designed to become a place for family leisure, reading, creativity and preservation of cultural traditions.
