Tomorrow in Vologda will be held a concert in honor of the Day of formation of the Vologda region (0+)

Vologda Oblast Education Day is celebrated on September 23. On this occasion, a festive concert will be held in Vologda. Vologzhan and guests of the city are waiting on the Kremlin square. The event starts at 16:00. Entry is free.

The press service of the city administration said that representatives of the regional and city authorities will make a welcoming speech. The festive program was prepared by creative teams. The headliner of the evening will be Vitaly Sinitsyn and the group “Time Tramp”.

On September 23, 1937, the Northern region was divided into Arkhangelsk and Vologda by the decree of the CEC of the USSR. According to the same document, the Cherepovets district of the Leningrad region was joined to the Vologda region. This year, our region in its present shape turns 89 years old.
