NAO residents are invited to create kinetic sculptures for the Christmas exhibition
Naryan-Mar will host an exhibition of kinetic sculptures “Christmas stories”

An exhibition of kinetic sculptures “Christmas stories” will be held in Naryan-Mar. Instead of static paintings and crafts, the organizers of the Ethnocultural Center of the NAO offer residents of the region to master the art of creating mobiles - structures that come into motion from the slightest fluctuations in air.
The essence of the project of the Ethnocultural Center of the NAO is to combine sacred images with ease and dynamics. Masters are offered to choose a plot to their liking: from biblical scenes and angels to characters of carols or winter treats. There are no technical limitations, but the organizers emphasize two main conditions: the work must be created manually and have a strong mount for suspension.
Residents of the district over 16 years old can take part. Both individual and collective creativity is allowed. Applications and finished works are accepted until December 5, 2026. The exposition itself will be located in the halls of the NAO ECC and will be open to visitors from December 11 to January 15.
