Lumber exports from Russia decreased by 18% in nine months

Russian exports of lumber for nine months of 2026 fell compared to the same period last year by 18% to 14.4 million cubic meters. About this “Vedomosti” reported the representative of the Federal forestry. Of the total volume, 54%, or 7.8 million cubic meters of lumber, was sold to China. Other major buyers were Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
