“Vkusville” conducted an inspection after reports of poisoning of the buyer with raspberries

The company “Vkusville” conducted laboratory studies of raspberries and storage conditions with the supplier after reports of poisoning of the buyer. The network did not reveal violations, but promised to strengthen control, the press service of the company told TASS.

“We are sincerely sorry that the buyer faced such a situation,” the company said. If any of the buyers have questions about quality, we are always ready to promptly replace the product or return the money.

The inspection of the parties on August 8 and September 2 did not reveal any violations. Organoleptic indicators are normal, physical and chemical indicators are below the permissible level, noted in Vkusville. The auditors also made sure that the supplier kept the berries in refrigerators at the temperature set for fresh produce.

The company acknowledged that visual inspection of packaging may not have been sufficient in this case. Vkusville promised to strengthen the incoming control of raspberries at acceptance, as well as to introduce additional checks when completing orders.

Today Telegram-channel Baza reported that the network “Vkusville” announced a warning due to severe raspberry poisoning from the manufacturer LLC “Garantia”. According to the channel, the buyer had fever, nausea and weakness. Baza also said shoppers had previously complained repeatedly about raspberries on the Vkusville chain.
