The index of the Moscow Exchange by 16:41 MSK reached 2300.26 points (+1.9%), updating the maximum since September 16. The RTS index rose to 861.68 points (+1.9%).

The growth leaders are metallurgical papers: MMK (+5.4%), PhosAgro (+5.3%), Severstal (+5.2%), ALROSA (+4.2%), NLMK (+3.9%). Also added Ozone (+3.8%), Gazprom (+3.2%) and VTB (+3%).

The correctional recovery of the market is based on the expectations of optimistic geopolitical news from the UN General Assembly. The restraining factor for the market was the fall in oil prices - Brent rolled back to $98.74 (-1.6%) per barrel.
