Other international flights from Iran, including to Istanbul, will operate on schedule without any disruption.
The flight cancellations follow a report by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who previously said Washington intends to effectively shut down Iranian airlines around the world from September 23. Bessent warned that foreign companies providing fuel, boarding or ticketing services to Iranian carriers could be cut off from the dollar system. After that, air traffic with Iran was suspended by Azerbaijan.
